Time to implement Google Analytics 4 (GA4)

The current version of Google Analytics (Universal) is being phased out and it is now time to implement GA4. We help you with implementation, onboarding but also training and support.

Why Google Analytics 4

July 1st 2023, the current version of Google Analytics will be shut down and replaced with Google Analytics 4 (GA4). Existing data, which your current setup (Universal Analytics), has tracked and is currently collecting will not be transfered to the new version.

It is therefore very important that you – regardless business goal or digital skills – implement the new version well in advance of the transition to GA4. This is to ensure that you can compare statistics and data with previous years and time frames but also feed each platform with data to keep high traction within paid campaigns.

Initial analysis and technical structure

Before we begin the technical implementation we analyse your current set-up of tracking, types of goals being tracked including values and other dynamic parameters and more. We draw the guidelines and map out which events and which code should be implemented where, both in the new server but also in the new GA4.

Technical implementation

We install and configure GA4 and make sure the measurement points being tracked reflects the business goals which are critical to your business. Our team can complete the implementation regardless of which platform you're currently using today, for example WordPress, Shopify and more. We set up the GCP and create your server via Google where we install the correct CPU, number of servers and more. When installing events, we make sure that deduplication is functional for all platforms and that the right variables and triggers are configured. For Meta, this is being synchronized with CAPI (Conversion API) and for Google the data is being served to GA4, GSC and Google Ads.

Training and onboarding

After implementation we guide you through in how the new tool works, as appearance and functionality differ drastically from the current version Universal Analytics.
